Everything I want…
Adam David Brown
March 21 – April 18, 2026
Opening Saturday, March 21, 2-5PM
Adam David Brown’s practice reflects upon our world’s place within a vast cosmos, turning quiet attention toward the forces and phenomena that structure our everyday existence. Gravity, time, and the subtle fabric of space-time have been recurring points of contemplation for Brown, inviting viewers to contemplate these ordinary, yet extraordinary phenomena. Brown’s work does not present these concepts as distant abstractions; rather, he approaches them through gestures and materials that come from the fabric and language of daily life.
Working across a variety of media, the artist embraces a variety of forms that mirror the complexity of his themes. Layers of carved paper, dusty star charts, golden rings of coffee, a crumpled sheet of paper and fleeting traces of smoke become delicate yet evocative elements within the exhibition. Through these materials, Brown constructs a quiet constellation that brings to mind both the fragility of and the persistence of human attempts to imagine the universe.
Everything I Want, is a collection of works that thematically, look outward from the ordinary toward the cosmic, from the finite toward the infinite, proposing that even small gestures and humble traces of day-to-day life can become points of entry into larger questions of existence.
