The emergence of meaning from nothing is a theme underlying much of Adam David Brown’s recent work. In his new exhibition Bloom… Adam David Brown re-works found objects. Discontinued coins and discarded books become the seeds for new structures and altered forms that relate to patterns observed in the natural world. The resulting series of artworks are marked by cycles of generation and regeneration, negation and affirmation.
