Opening November 23, 2-5PM

“My work comes out of my life. It is my way to experience the passage of time, and to learn from the complexity of daily living.

My immediate surroundings provide the elements that inform my work, and I like to experiment with materials that are not commonly used in art making. I am inspired by things around me: the air, the smell and material lying around the house; in particular, the kitchen. I also love the activity in my backyard where plants, birds, animals, and insects are most fascinating subjects to watch.

I focus on everything that frees up what I know towards inventing a new realm that is in reference to and questioning the enigmatic and the ambiguous in life. The mystery of being is the most powerful and seductive element which propels me in my creativity.”
