Jaime Angelopoulos received her MFA from York University (2010), BFA from NSCAD (2005) and also studied at Meadows School of the Arts in Dallas, TX (2006-07). She was awarded the Hazelton Sculpture Prize in 2013 and has participated in artist residencies at KulttuuriKauppila Art Centre (Finland) and the Banff Centre (Alberta). Solo exhibitions include Parisian Laundry (Montreal), MKG 127 (Toronto), YYZ Artist Outlet (Toronto) and Cambridge Galleries (Ontario). She recently presented two-person exhibitions, The Ruin in The Refuge is the Hole (Finland) and Awkward Dimensions at LVL3 Gallery (Chicago). Recent group exhibitions include, Material Girls at the Dunlop Art Gallery (Regina), Out Of Line at Oakville Galleries and trans/FORM at MOCCA (Toronto).
Her works are held in numerous corporate, institutional and private collections throughout Canada and the United States.
