MKG127 is very pleased to present in the Front Space,
Selected Coin Studies, an exhibition of new work by Micah Adams.

Micah Adams‘ second solo exhibition at MKG127Selected Coin Studies is a presentation of recent numismatic artworks. Numismatics traditionally involves the study and collection of coins or currency. In these works, Adams explores themes and iconography found on coins and interprets them into drawings, etchings and sculptures.

Micah Adams is a collector of objects as much as he is a maker of objects. Adams began his formal art training at CÉGEP John Abbott College in Montréal and received his BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, in Halifax. He has been an Artist in Residence at Harbourfront Centre’s Metal/Jewellery studio in Toronto. He has also participated in visiting artist residencies at Open Studio in Toronto, the Klondike Institute of Art and Culture in Dawson City, Yukon and the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, Washington. Adams is currently based in Toronto.
