MKG127 is delighted to present Semicolon Hyphen Bracket,
an exhibition of work by Cynthia Daignault (USA), Ceal Floyer (DE), Anna Kolodziejska (DE), Kay Rosen (USA), alongside Toronto-based artists Kristiina Lahde, Roula Partheniou, Joy Walker and Laurel Woodcock, and London, Ontario-based artist Liza Eurich.

This exhibition explores a selection of works engaging the nature of disguises and reversals. The aforementioned artists wittingly use and misuse such materials as megaphones, measuring tapes, margin lines, artificial turf, proper nouns and idiomatic expressions to elicit double-takes. Like the wolf in sheep’s clothing, or in the case of Rosen’s text piece Sheep in Wolf’s Clothing, Semicolon Hyphen Bracket is winking.
