Infinity Plus One, Adam David Brown‘s second solo exhibition at MKG127, explores the connections between Set Theory, Parallel Universes and Ouija boards. Smoke and mirrors are cross-referenced with quantum physics and mathematics to form a series of works that explore the relationships between the infinite universe and the paranormal. Inspired by Georg Cantor’s mathematics of infinity, as well as by Hugh Everett’s physics of parallel universes, Brown has created an exhibition, which correlates the rational world with the world of magic. The works in this exhibition attempt to lend form to the intangible, the transformative and the supernatural.
Adam David Brown is an artist living in Toronto. Guided by the principle of “less is more”, his work attempts to find a balance between emptiness and form, mark making and magic. A graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design, he completed his Masters of Fine Art at the University of Guelph. He has exhibited work in Canada, Europe, Central America and the United States.
